SMG invites visitors to Dessau-Roßlau with TV and radio spots on MDR
With two TV commercials, the Stadtmarketinggesellschaft Dessau-Roßlau mbH will draw attention to Dessau-Roßlau as an excursion and travel destination for the beginning vacation season.
Thus, in the period from 01.06.2021 to 26.06.2021, TV commercials on the themes of Bauhaus and Garden Kingdom will be broadcast for the first time as a program announcement for the 19:50 evening program in the entire broadcast area of MDR television. The broadcast area includes Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony and Thuringia.
In addition, radio spots on MDR JUMP from 01.06.2021 to 14.06.2021 invite visitors to stay in Dessau-Roßlau. Especially at a time when the longing for travel is great and vacations in the homeland are attractive, the city marketing company shows why a visit to the city of Dessau-Roßlau is worthwhile at any time.
“The tourism industry is suffering massively from the Corona crisis. At the same time, people are looking for recreation and travel. We want to invite guests to come to us in Dessau-Roßlau, so that they can enjoy culture, stroll in the stores, stop in gastronomic establishments and stay overnight. We are hopeful that these advertising measures will promote a start to the season,” says the interim managing director, Dr. Robert Reck, about the marketing measures of the city marketing company.
But the advertising is intended to do more than draw attention to the tourism location. “Our goal is also to convey a positive image of our city both internally and externally and to create an appetite for living in our city in the countryside,” says Reck.
The TV and radio ads will be repeated next year. “In city marketing, we think bigger and, together with the entire team, take bold steps for our Dessau-Roßlau,” say Robert Reck and Franziska Staudte, the head of the department responsible for tourism in city marketing.
