This ambience is not to be missed during a visit to Dessau-Roßlau. In the sudterrain of the famous Bauhaus building you will find the hip bistro, which always offers a colorful mix of guests due to its Bauhaus students and professors, tourists and locals. Cake buffets, a changing lunch menu and a wide selection of drinks mean no one goes home hungry. Whether indoors or outdoors with a magnificent view of the Bauhaus building, the Bauhaus Bistro should be a firm fixture when visiting the city.

Café und Shop at the Bauhaus Museum
The café in the newly built Bauhaus Museum shows a piece of formative city history in a very special way. Here you can feel the Bauhaus and its design in every detail. The glass façade creates a unique flair and provides a far-reaching view between the hectic city center and the cozy city park. In addition to the stylish products of the in-house store, the atmosphere and the snacks offered with coffee are definitely worth planning a visit here.
Tip: The exhibition in the upper part of the museum is one of the largest collections of Bauhaus exhibits in the world.
A little away from the city center, you can enjoy your coffee at the Kornhaus with a magnificent view of the beautiful Elbe River. The restaurant is one of the best addresses and offers a real culinary experience due to its location and architecture. The Kornhaus is one of the many Bauhaus buildings in the city and is particularly popular with tourists. From every seat here you can enjoy the natural course of the river. On weekends, the small kiosk right next to the Kornhaus is open and also offers a selected range of drinks and snacks. Luise Café & Ice Cream Salon
The small, sweet café on the edge of the Luisium Park is a real insider tip for visitors to the Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Kingdom. Here, the main focus is clearly on the ice cream creations and their extraordinary flavors. But you can also enjoy coffee and cake, as well as small savory treats in the pink ambience of the café. But if you prefer to watch the koi swim, you have to move to the outdoor area.
