Christopher Street Day in Dessau-Roßlau
It is with great pleasure that we officially invite you all to the first Christopher Street Day in Dessau-Roßlau this millennium. Take to the streets together for your rights as queer people. Show that the CSD belongs in Dessau-Roßlau for an open, tolerant city and that diversity is lived here.
Be excited about the colourful and exciting artists who will accompany you throughout the day, the political discussions and the various actors who will present themselves around the word “queer”.
We would be happy to see you on 21.05.2022, so that it will be an unforgettable first CSD in the city.
The event includes a musical demonstration through the city centre with rallies at historical places in the city.
This will be followed by a “Festival of Diversity” on the Dessau market square.
Background:
Homo-, trans- and bi-phobia is a global problem. In many cities, many parts of our community continue to experience exclusion and discrimination. For this reason, the CSD Magdeburg e.V. has launched the project “CSD Saxony-Anhalt”.
The aim is to bring queer visibility to the rural areas of Saxony-Anhalt and thus stand up for tolerance, diversity and respect. Furthermore, the project is to serve as an advertising platform for large and small community offers and their organisers.
