Yellow double deckers drive through the city

For a few weeks now, they have been on the road – the yellow double-decker buses of Nahverkehrsfreunde Dessau e. V. are rolling through the city.

Every Saturday and Sunday, along Kavalierstraße or in the direction of Gropius Allee, those interested can take a look at the city in a good 90 minutes and not only learn interesting facts from 800 years of the city’s history, from its beginnings as a royal seat through industrialization to the present day, but also find one or two amusing anecdotes along the way.

The historic vehicles “1761” and “3046” also have classic sliding roofs, so you can enjoy the view wonderfully topless.

We as city marketing didn´t miss the opportunity and put our branding on the bus.
The visit Dessau logo shines in red letters on one of the yellow double-deckers.

Anyone who now feels like taking a tour of the city can still do so on the coming weekends. Both tours start at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the stop between the main post office and the Bauhaus Museum.

Tickets can be purchased at the Tourist Information Dessau, on the website of the local transport friends or directly on site in the bus.
