Advent market cup 2022
The winner of the painting competition for the Advent Market Cup 2022 is Ghina. She is 10 years old and comes from Dessau-Roßlau. Her Christmas motif with a funny snowman and a red Christmas hat surrounded by presents, decorated branches and stars convinced the jury the most out of a total of 65 submitted drawings. This was closely followed by a design by 8-year-old Leni-Joleen and two third places with Paul, age 9, and Henry, age 8. The latter even submitted a poem to go with his design. We would like to thank all the children who took part in the painting competition!
The idea of looking for the motif for the mulled wine cup already during the Advent season in the previous year will be continued in the future. The organizer of the Dessau Advent Market, Grill und Imbiss Merkel GmbH and the Stadtmarketinggesellschaft Dessau-Roßlau are looking forward to numerous possibilities for the search for a motif. For example, the competition could have a specific theme or an anniversary reference or be announced among different age or professional groups.
