StadtLesen returns
After a two-year break, the popular reading format StadtLesen is returning to Dessau’s market square.
Starting on 12 May, the motto will once again be: On the books, get set, go.
Every year, StadtLesen transforms Dessau’s market square into a cosy reading oasis during the LiteraTour. Visitors indulge their love of reading in the mobile reading room, choose a copy from more than 3,000 books in the book towers, settle down on comfortable reading chairs and read, listen, delve into, linger – give themselves over to their imagination.
An all-round book service with a wide range of literature and a varied supporting programme for young and old on all days makes a visit to the marketplace an unforgettable experience. Join us in looking forward to four days of reading pleasure under the open sky and with free admission!
