Photo competition #WelterbeVerbindet
Under the motto: “Preserving heritage – shaping the future”, the World Heritage Sites in Germany will celebrate World Heritage Day on 5 June 2022. On this occasion, the nationwide photo competition #WelterbeVerbindet will take place again.
As part of the #WelterbeVerbindet photo competition, the German Commission for UNESCO and the UNESCO World Heritage Sites Germany Association invite World Heritage enthusiasts to become part of UNESCO World Heritage Day from 5 May to 5 June 2022.
Lesser-known places, detailed photos or insights behind the scenes of the World Heritage Site are sought.
Take photos behind closed doors, in hidden corners or in hidden courtyards. Also feel free to show the people who work every day to preserve the World Heritage sites.
Why is our World Heritage invaluable? – yesterday, today and tomorrow.
The three best photos will be awarded by a jury. The winners will be notified in writing and announced on the campaign page. Each winner will receive a bag with give-aways from the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
