Current Corona regulations for Dessau-Roßlau

Information as at 24 November 2021.

The 15th Containment Ordinance of the State of Saxony-Anhalt is force since 24 November 2021. We summarise the most important regulations for visitors to our city here.

Mandatory 2G indoor access model for:

  • Indoor gastronomy
  • Cultural facilities
  • Accommodation (Exception: accommodation for professional reasons.
reasons. In this case the 3G regulation applies)
  • Recreational and amusement facilities
  • Coach tours, boat tours, city tours and comparable tourist offers

The following persons may be granted access to the aforementioned indoor premises:

  • Vaccinated and recovered
  • Children up to 18 years of age
  • Persons for whom, for health reasons, no vaccination recommendation has been issued by the
    Permanent Vaccination Commission.
To increase protection, they must submit a test with a negative test result or carry it out on site and always wear an FFP2 mask at all times. An original written medical certificate is required.

Mandatory 3G access model for e.g.

  • Participation in guided tours
  • Visit to the Christmas market
  • Use of local public transport

In addition to vaccinated and recovered persons, children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are exempt from the testing obligation when using the 3G models, as well as persons who credibly demonstrate medical reasons that prevent the testing from being carried out.

Hygiene measures (wearing a medical mouth-nose protection, distance regulations) must still be observed when performing the 2G models.

You can find an overview of rapid test centres on the city’s website.
