Dessau-Roßlau in the spotlight
Under the motto: “Favorite Places – Discover Your Home”, a team from the regional broadcaster Sachsen Fernsehen is on a summer tour, presenting exciting destinations in Central Germany with film clips. In 20 places the film team makes station and so in Dessau Rosslau also yesterday.
On behalf of the city marketing company and in cooperation with tourist partners, the team filmed and interviewed at various locations in one day. The approx. 25-minute reportage is to offer the variety at objects of interest in Dessau Rosslau to the spectators from the area Saxonia and be invitation at the same time to make a trip into the city.
Among other things, the UNESCO World Heritage Sites Garden Kingdom Dessau-Wörlitz and the Bauhaus buildings Dessau are presented. A visit to the Dessau Zoo is encouraged, but historical and technical innovations are also recommended for a trip to the “Hugo Junkers” Museum of Technology. A special highlight is a ride on the Dessau-Wörlitz Railway. It offers a relaxed ride to explore the region’s sights and the Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Kingdom.
