Closing of the Open Stage
On Thursday, September 21, 2023 we will celebrate the end of our Open Stage for this season. We are now already looking back on a fourth summer with many great concerts. Every Thursday evening since May 25, we have welcomed local and regional artists to our fine little open-air stage. The Stadtmarketinggesellschaft would like to thank all participants and the numerous visitors for the wonderful season. Now it is time to say goodbye next year!
From 17.30 o’clock the public expects a musically multicolored evening with unique conclusion. First, the band red masu opens the program with a mix of soul, funk, jazz rock and jazz blues. Playing together, red masu creates a sound that makes the audience dance and sing along. red masu is one of the most exciting live bands in the region and a must for all lovers of good music.
With an unusual mixture it goes on then starting from 20.00 o’clock. The two DJs Fabian Niese and R.I.C.K. will make the marketplace shake and welcome another special guest, saxophonist Jan Sichting. DJ and saxophone – that’s the best of all worlds, and it takes every party to a whole new level.
The evening ends impressively at 10 p.m. with a video projection on the facade of the city library, which celebrates its 125th anniversary this year. The audience will be taken on a voyage of discovery through the city and experience fireworks of a completely different kind.
