The countdown to the 34th Kurt Weill Festival is on!
Under the motto “In Motion,” the 34th Kurt Weill Festival will take place from February 27 to March 15, 2026, in Dessau-Roßlau. In 74 events at 21 venues, over 600 artists from the fields of music, dance, theater, and literature will present a diverse program.
Highlights include Ben Becker, clarinetist Giora Feidman, the Flying Steps, and young talents such as Hannes Vonmetz. In addition to concerts, there will be dance productions, readings, workshops, exhibitions, family activities, and parties.
This year’s artist-in-residence is the Sebastian Weber Dance Company, which will present several productions featuring contemporary tap dancing and an international cast, including Glitz and the premiere of Ella.
Many events are already sold out. Remaining tickets are still available for selected highlights such as For a Better World, The Latin America Project, and Flying Movement.
