Painting competition for children and young people
We are looking for the cup motif for 2026
Together with the organiser of the Dessau Advent Market, Grill- und Imbiss Merkel GmbH, we are once again launching our painting competition this year – and looking for the motif for the 2026 Advent Market mug!
This time, all children and young people between the ages of 11 and 16 are eligible to participate. Your task: Design a motif based on the fairy tales ‘Frau Holle’ or ‘Hansel and Gretel’ and submit your design to the city marketing company or one of the two tourist information offices by Sunday, 14 December 2025.
The colouring template will be distributed to schools in Dessau and Roßlau and is also available at the tourist information offices in Dessau and Roßlau and at the snack stands of Grill- und Imbiss Merkel GmbH. You will also find flyers and colouring templates at several stands at the Dessau Advent Market.
A jury will review all submitted designs and select the winner. The winner will be announced on 23 December 2025 at 5 p.m. at the Dessau Advent Market.
